Who will be the 2007 world champion?

Make a date in your diary, because the 2007 annual world championship will be held in the historic Cathedral city of Lincoln on Sunday, 20 May.

It only costs £10.00 to enter, and there are prizes for the overall winner - plus a £50 award for the best newcomer to the tournament.

The 12th world championship is sponsored by the TAP AND SPILE public house on Hungate, Lincoln, venue of the first tournament to be staged in 1996 (directions below).

Competitors and guests can look forward to a day of entertainment, with food, soft drinks and traditional ales available.

The event is expected to attract media interest, with challengers hoping to lift the trophy and £200 prizemoney won by Dutch player Herman Kok just 12 months earlier.
